More than 20,000 delegates representing 70 countries are expected to attend this year’s BIO Conference in San Diego, to be held on the 17th – 20th June 2008.

As in previous years, the Conference sessions and business partnering forums will be held in parallel with an international exhibition. Bio Innovation SA has secured promotional space for South Australian bioscience companies within the Australian pavilion and will use the opportunity to promote the State of South Australia.

This year’s event is likely to feature strong representation from agricultural biotechnology companies and technologies that present solutions to drought – an issue of concern for the States of California and South Australia.
